House of Celebration is selecting a small number of Founding Collaborations — real gatherings and experiences that begin with an important story, purpose or reason for people to come together.

That story might belong to a family, an organization, a community, a place or a moment of change. It may celebrate an achievement, honor a legacy, reconnect people, mark a transition or create a reason for people to gather in a new way.

The occasion itself matters less than the reason behind it.

Francesca Krane will bring the experience concept and creative direction of House of Celebration to selected projects, helping shape gatherings that feel specific, meaningful and memorable — rather than simply well organized or beautifully decorated.

We are looking for stories that deserve to be given form.

The story might belong to a family, community, organization, place or moment of change. It may honor a legacy, mark an important transition, reconnect people or recognize something that should not pass unnoticed.

Francesca will uncover the essence of that story and translate it into an experience concept—shaping the emotional intention, guest journey, atmosphere and defining moments while guiding the creative partners who bring it to life.

WHAT COLLABORATION MEANS

A Founding Collaboration is a genuine exchange.

House of Celebration may contribute Francesca Krane’s experience-design and creative-direction services — not simply an introductory consultation.

The host or project partner remains responsible for the costs and resources required to produce the gathering, including things such as venue, catering, florals, rentals, fabrication, photography, entertainment and other outside vendors.

Other creative partners determine their own participation and financial arrangements for each project. The specific scope and responsibilities of everyone involved will be agreed clearly before the work begins.

In simple terms: Francesca contributes the creative vision and direction; the collaborator provides the resources needed to bring it to life.

The strongest gatherings are often shaped by many talented people — planners, venues, chefs, florists, photographers and other creative partners.

Francesca brings a clear story and experience concept that gives those collaborators a shared creative direction to build from together. That story can then be woven through the setting, food, florals, program, atmosphere and guest journey in ways that feel natural rather than added on.

The result is a more cohesive and meaningful experience — one where each collaborator’s contribution supports the same story and the gathering feels unmistakably connected to the people, place or purpose at its heart.

Private and personal stories are welcome. Photography, privacy and publication boundaries can be discussed thoughtfully for each project.

Projects will be selected based on the significance of the story, alignment with the House of Celebration philosophy, creative potential, readiness and collaborative fit.

HOW PROJECTS ARE SELECTED

Founding Collaborations will be considered for the strength of the story, creative potential, alignment with House of Celebration, readiness to bring the idea to life, collaborative fit and the opportunity to create a meaningful experience that can be appropriately documented and shared.

Over the next couple of months, House of Celebration will select three Founding Collaborations for projects taking place between now and the end of 2027.
